Location

All computer classes are on-site and held at your business location for your convenience.  We can use your conference room, lunch room, an empty office, or even your desk is fine too.

If you'd prefer, we can arrange a meeting room at a local hotel.

Class Topics

You may choose any 6-hour Introduction, Intermediate, and Advanced class and leave the class as outlined in the courseware.  See the Class Catalog for a list of classes with outlines.

Another option is to customize your class by choosing the chapters you want.  Generally, each chapter is about an hour so picking any 6 chapters will usually give you the full 6-hour class.  See the Course Catalog for a list of classes with outlines.

A third option is to choose topic specific classes from our 90-minute Power Sessions.  See the Power Sessions for a list of topic specific classes.

Class Dates

We generally schedule out a week or more in advance to allow for ordering your courseware.  We're available any day of the week including weekends.  Just a pick some dates that work for you and we'll check our calendar too.

Class Times

Class times are very flexible.  A 6-hour class can be scheduled as one 6-hour day, or two 3-hour sessions scheduled over two days.

Generally classes are scheduled 9am to 4pm with an hour off for lunch, or broken down into 3-hour segments from 9am to noon, or 1pm to 4pm.  Evening classes are 6pm to 9pm and run over two nights.  Again, we're flexible with the times, so let us know what works for you.

The 90-minute classes can be scheduled with any four 90-minute Power Sessions to make up a full 6-hour day.  We can also break it down into a 3-hour session with any two 90-minute Power Sessions you select.

Number of Students

The Computer Help Button has enough laptops for up to 6 students.  The maximum recommended number of students is 12 if your business provides equipment.  We also offer one-on-one training for one student.

Software Version

We offer training in various software versions.  Let us know which software version you have when scheduling your class.  Microsoft classes are available in Microsoft Office 97, 2000, 2002, 2003, and 2007.

In most programs you can choose Help from the menu at the top of the screen, then choose About... from the menu to find your current software version.

Equipment

We can use your equipment, or our portable training lab which includes 6 Dell laptops and digital projector.

Payment Method

Payment may be made by cash, check, MasterCard, or Visa.  Advance payment is necessary to hold your class dates.  Invoicing is available for businesses only upon request.  See the Pricing page for specific pricing numbers.
